treasure hunt

So when your husbands out of town you can do silly things like set up furniture in the overgrown backyard and take funny pictures of yourself with new costume jewelry. Every friday my sister Jacki and I scour estate sales and thrift stores looking for pieces to fill our empty houses or trinkets to add to my etsy store. There is a thrill to it I can't explain. But for those few hours every week I feel like I'm on what Bro has called "a treasure hunt". Once at an estate sale he found some gold doubloons from some swanky vegas hotel and since then he's been by my side on the hunt (plus he knows he gets to go to the library or get a happy meal afterward). This is my fun. Every mom need some. I have only started to do this on a regular basis for the last couple months and it has been so therapeutic. Far better then my monthly trip to the gym:) So although it's not a special needs topic I intend to post my treasures every week for fun. What do you do for fun?
